The singer-songwriter Zoe Straub was captivated by the musical stage from a very early age. This fascination soon evolved into the dream of writing a musical herself. While searching for the right story, the young artist came across the Nibelungenlied. EPOS is a musical that retells the medieval legendary story of the Nibelungenlied. Musically and thematically, we breathe new life into one of the oldest heroic epics. We challenge the notion of “heroes” and place women, along with their roles and stories, at the forefront.
